Booking a Storage Declaration

Why would I book a storage declaration?

To book insurance coverage for the cargo in storage or to report your policy’s storage activities and values.

Before Getting Started

  • You belong to a company that has access to at least one policy in Confirmed status.
  • You are assigned the Create Storage Declaration security right.

Steps

  1. You create a new storage declaration and verify coverage. The declaration is insurable.

  2. Click Confirm Booking.

Result

The system saves the storage declaration, sets its status to Booked, and generates a unique booking number.
